The Sookasa Folder
Sookasa automatically creates a Sookasa folder in your Dropbox root directory. Sookasa will encrypt any file placed in the Sookasa folder, protecting it from unauthorized access. The Sookasa folder is an intuitive mechanism to provide encrypted file sharing with Dropbox.
Sookasa provides employees with secure online file sharing capabilities. They can send encrypted files and folders with their customers, colleagues and team members using the native Dropbox interface. Administrators can control the distribution of keys to these files, and authorize or revoke the access of users to encrypted files and folders.
Sookasa encrypts, audits and controls access to the Dropbox directory on mobile devices. By deploying Sookasa, you secure your online storage and significantly reduce the risk of data loss and HIPAA breaches.
Sookasa provides employees and administrators with complete access control and secure online sharing of their encrypted files, even after they have been shared through Dropbox or sent over email. Administrators can limit the access to encrypted files by controlling the distribution of keys only to trusted team members, colleagues and clients.
More Great Features
Sookasa provides administrators with a HIPAA audit trail of user activities. For example, Sookasa provides information on who joined or left the system, who granted access to whom and which files were exposed.
Admins can use Sookasa to track individual files across Dropbox accounts. Sookasa lets Admins track which files were added, removed, modified and deleted by individual users. Admins can view which folders were shared among users and track individual file revisions.
Endpoint Security and File Access
Sookasa encrypts data and enforces access control on employee devices. Administrators can now safely let their employees access and store sensitive files on unencrypted devices.
Remote Device Blocking
In case a device is lost or stolen, Sookasa allows administrators to block a specific device from accessing encrypted files.
File Browsing Across Accounts
Sookasa provides administrators with a centralized interface to browse all of the company’s encrypted file sharing activity on Dropbox. Administrators can use the browsing interface to track and retain individual files and folders.
When an employee is separated from the business, administrators can use Sookasa to retain the business files stored on the employee’s Dropbox account and revoke the employee’s access to these files.
