Sookasa Acquired by Barracuda Networks

We’re excited to announce that Sookasa has been acquired by Barracuda Networks! Barracuda Networks is a leader in cloud, network, and data security trusted by more than 175,000 organizations worldwide. Since Sookasa’s founding in 2012, our team has worked hard to bring encryption, security, and compliance to sensitive data stored in the cloud. We see great synergies between Barracuda and Sookasa, and are really excited about joining the Barracuda team and working together to achieve a leadership position in cloud security.

We will continue to operate our service within Barracuda and remain committed to our product and customers, and will continue to provide our customers the same level of great service that they’ve come to expect.

I’d like to take this opportunity thank all of our customers and partners who have supported us and provided feedback along the way. We are looking forward to continuing to work together in the next step of our journey. I’d also like to thank our employees, past and present, who have worked tirelessly to build and deliver a great product and experience. It’s been a real pleasure working with you. We also want to thank our investors and advisors for their tremendous support throughout the years. Special thanks to Signal Hill for advising us in the acquisition process.

We are looking forward to continuing our journey to make the cloud a safer place!

Sincerely,

Asaf and the Sookasa team
